Snow sports enthusiasts enjoying the first virgin powder on the slopes of Europe in 2004 will get the opportunity to take time out from the black runs and snow parks to test drive new titles on the Nokia N-Gage game deck. The N-Gage Snow Tour kicks off in Hermagor, Austria on February 13, 2004 and will visit more than 27 winter sport resorts in 7 European countries, letting gamers sample the latest N-Gage releases and mobile gaming at its best.
The N-Gage Snow Tour will bring a new dimension to après ski as gamers compete against each other in daily challenges on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater. Other games featured are: Rayman 3, FIFA 2004, Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell: Team Stealth Action and Red Faction. Triumphant victors will have the chance to win N-Gage game decks, skis, official N-Gage snowboards plus a top prize of a ski holiday for two. In addition tour visitors will be able to take exclusive N-Gage merchandise back to their chalets and get the edge on all their mates.
The Tour will also showcase the wares of the N-Gage Snow Tour’s official partners, snow sports gurus Salomon and the makers of highly charged energy drink Battery. Salomon, the world leader in snow sports will provide imagery for the big screen and access to some of their athletes, while Battery will keep the snowy revellers on their toes with free samples of their energy elixir and their infamous human catapult display.
The N-Gage Snow Tour kicks off February 13, 2004 in Hermagor, Austria and runs until 10 April 2004. The tour will visit 27 snow sports resorts in Europe.
