IGN Reports that Nokia remains optimistic regarding sales of the N-Gage gamedeck. Nokia made public today that they have sold approximately 400,000 N-Gage Game Decks worldwide in its first two weeks. Furthermore, Nokia expects to sell 6-9 million game decks before the end of 2004.
One might takes these numbers with a grain of salt, however. The 400,000 number only represents the number of units sold to retailers - not the actual number of units sold to consumers which was
reported previously to be a much smaller number. While Nokia admits that sales in North America could use improvement, Nada Usina, Nokia's General Manager of Entertainment and Media, did note that retail responses in Europe and Asia Pacific were higher.
