Capcom to Develop Upcoming N-Gage Games

Nokia announced last week an agreement with industry pioneers Capcom to produce a variety of titles for the N-Gage platform. Specific titles that Capcom is developing for the N-Gage are unknown, but are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

“Capcom is proud to become a part of the N-Gage title family and we look forward to bringing mobile gamers hours of fun as they play Capcom games while on the move,” said
Kenzo Tsujimoto, President and CEO, Capcom Co., Ltd.

“Working with Capcom will mean fantastic additions to the N-Gage games catalogue,” said Pasi Pölönen, Director of Game Publishing, Games Business Unit, Nokia. “As one of the
industry pioneers, we feel that Capcom will bring a wealth of experience in the games industry to create innovative games that will take full advantage of the N-Gage platform.”

Capcom is a leading worldwide developer, publisher and distributor of interactive entertainment. Founded in 1983, the company has created world renowned franchises including Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Mega Man, Breath of Fire, Devil May Cry and the Onimusha series.
