N-Gage QD
The U.S. release date of the second generation version of Nokia's N-Gage Game Deck has been pushed back a month. Originally slated for a U.S. release in June, the ship date is now scheduled for July 27.

Nokia says the reason for the delay is not because of a shortage of supply. "While the product is ready for shipment," explained US N-Gage PR representative Steven Knuff, "we have made a business decision to maximise the impact of the launch by synchronising across all channel partners."

The QD is currently available in Europe and Asia, and is planned to be released in Canada on June 29th.

Side Talkin'
All About N-Gage posted instructions last week to make a much talked about modification to your N-Gage Game Deck. Basically, the mod involves drilling a hole in the rear of your game deck to let you hear the speaker without holding the phone like a taco. All About N-Gage does warn to be careful when making this mod not to damage the speaker on the device and notes that this mod will most likely void your warranty.
